We booked a suite. Wonderful local attractions like Brindle Distillery where very close to the hotel. Distance to the airport was just 30 km...

Bar was open late
Restricted access to Bar due to wedding. Room decor was outdated and tatty.

It was our 30th anniversary and we were returning to where we had our wedding reception and booked a junior suite and asked for a "nice" room, however hotel room and bathroom decoration appeared dated and tired and there was only a view over the roof areas.

Our visit was instigated by an invite to a friend's 50th birthday celebration. We attended one of the party nights in the adjoining Dixon Suite, entertainment was good and the food/service was excellent. We had a basic room which was well above average, spacious and comfortable. Full english breakfast (with 2 eggs) was very tasty. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys comfort and polite staff.

The hotel is quaintly old fashioned, the service was very good and breakfast was excellent.
The fittings in the room were a liitle old, especially in the bathroom, however this did not effect the enjoyment of our stay.

Exellent staff and lovely gardens
Sad that lovely rooms look out over hotel,s air conditioning units with accompanying noise and no double glazing.

Having booked the room for £80 through Booked.net, on arrival we were told that this booking was not available and that if we wanted a room it would could us £100.00 for the same room. Totally unnaceptable.
